SoundeFilm started its operations in January 1998 and has been operating since 1999 in the Finnish Film Foundation building in Katajanokka, where it currently has two Pro Tools-based sound editing studios. Since its inception, one of the company’s main activities has been renting high-quality film sound recording equipment to film production companies and film sound recordists. In the spring of 2013, SoundeFilm changed its legal form from a trading company to a limited company. Today, SoundeFilm Ltd offers a wide range of services in different areas of film sound.
